New identity

The last month's I have had the joy of revisiting a few of the old "fields" where I use to work in the 1980-90's. It has been great to see how the "seed" we planted back than have grown up and today is bearing much fruit. Back than we had to work undercover and sometimes it was pretty difficult and also dangerous. I remember when we where breaking new ground in former Yugoslavia and where doing illegal mission activities there. I was arrested a few times and taken to court. At 2 occassions I was blacklisted in to Yugoslavia. Both times I changed passport and succeeded to go back...until they seriously started to work with computers at the borderstations.
That was a problem for me since they had all my details. I seriously started to look into the possibilities of changing my identity.....meaning buying a new passport with new name......
I already had contacts that could do that in Istanbul....
Praise God I never walked tha path ...I would have ended up with a lot of problem I am sure...

You can never buy yourself a new identity. But....in Christ Jesus everything have become new.
You have a new nature,new dna....everything is new.
I talked with my friend Radovan, pastor in Belgrade about this. He told me that the only way to succesfully restore a drug addict, prostitute...is to help them to find their new identity in Jesus.
Sins are forgiven...the passed is gone...now you are loved fully accepted and secure!!!
I met some of those people in the church in Belgrade and I was really blessed to see what Jesus had done.
It is important for all of us to find our real identity in Him.
Now I am preparing myself for a Conference in York/Scarborough this coming weekend.
The name of the Conference is "Strong Tower"...i like the name. It will be a weekend full of Jesus. Vivianne and will drive up from here early tomorrow morning...

Jesus and demons

I came home late yesterday. My flight was very delayed out from Belgrade and than we had to circle around London for a hour before we finally could land....frustrating?..yes.
Once home we watched a BBC documentary about child witches in Nigeria. I saw the first programme and this was a follow up. Some Churches and self proclaimed apostles in Nigeria are teaching about demons and witchcraft in churches and conferences where they accuse children of being servants of the devil full of witchcraft bringing curses to their families. As a result of this parents are rejecting their children and chase them away and in many cases kill them. Torture,murder and the most terrible atrocities are being done to those kids in the name of the church. Churches that call them selves pentacostal churches.....
I am very upset to see how leaders are misusing faith and spirituality in such a disgusting way.
Unfortunately also here in Europe crazy and stupid things are being done in the name of church and religion. Lets give Jesus to this hurting World. Lets fight against corrupt religious institutions with its false leaders.

Belgrade in fog...

It is early Monday morning here in Belgrade. It is cold and foggy outside. I am praying that my flight will be leaving in time...
We had a great meeting in the church last night. 10 people recieved Jesus!!
I love to lead people to salvation. 97 % of Belgrade's population are orthodox belivers but the majority of them claim that they are atheists. So in other words most of the people here are rekigious atheists.The Orthodox church are not so bothered about those that do not believe at all but rather bothered about people like my friends that are followers of Jesus. It is an ongoing persecution against born again and especially spiritfilled christians...even if they only are 4-500 in numbers.
I believe God for a great breakthrough in Belgrade and Serbia. Millions of people here are lost and misled by a religious institution that have on interest alone....to control and to hinder the life of the Spirit of God to reach them. But nothing could stop Jesus walking out of the tomb!!!

Belgrade

This weekend I am visiting Belgrade. Itis a city that today have app. 2,5 million people.Gradually things are changing to the better after the war and the bombing of Nato where many thousands of civilians died.

I was here last time 14 years ago. The church we where involved in during that time still exist but now under a different name New Horizons. I am preaching there this weekend. It is really great to see that it is growing in number and influence. There are very fev evangelical born again people in this city ...4-500 they say. The ortodox Church condemn them as a sect and do everything they can to make things difficult. It is surprising how much stupidity are being done in the name of the church. This is a real pioneering work and it is a joy to be here and also to see that the seed we planted here 16 years ago are bearing fruit. Pastor Radovan together with his wife Jelena are doing a great job here.

We need to continue to preach the gospel in to those unreached areas of Europe.

Tirana

I have just arrived back from Tirana/Albania. I was there together with Magdalena ,our daughter ,Dan Lindau and his son Jonah. Our mission was to do Pastors/Leaders days and to have a few open meetings. Friday-Saturday we met together with appr. 90-100 pastors and leaders. Gods spirit was moving powerful. I really believe that something new is about to happen in Albania. The body of Christ is still very young..the oldest Church is 18 yrs(we started first church in January 1992...)but already there is a need of a new move of Gods Spirit and a returning back to the foundations of faith.

Saturday-Sunday we had meetings open for everyone and it was great to see many respond to the call of salvation.

We will continue our events in Albania and already we have 2 more booked in for 2010,in March and in July. This is a respond to a cry for help from the leaders and pastors in Albania.

I will be home 2 days now and than I will leave for Belgrade/Serbia...

I was involved in planting a new Church there many years ago and now it will be great to visit those friends again.

A little less than 2o years ago I was in Romania together with Bo Sander(God TV) and Michael Lundin(Sweden).

We where travelling around in Romania visiting underground churches. Revival was going on in some of those churches and it was always a pleasure to meet some of the heroes of that time.

Securitate(Romanian KGB) was looking for us but they never got hold of us that time. I still remember the sense of destiny that was in the air. Nobody really dared to speak about what they felt was coming. I spoke one evening in a church in Bistrita that revival and changes are coming to the nation. This was just a few days before the wall in Berling came tumbling down.

The revoloution in Romania started a few weeks later and unfortunatley it was a bloody one. When we arrived at the border to leave Romania the guards searched our vehicle and our bags and Bo Sanders Tv camera...they stole all his films...and treated us really bad.

A few weeks later...when revolution was over... I arrived back in to Romania...borders guards where smiling and shouting pace...peace. We ministered openly on open air meetings,universities allover the nation. The fall of communism was a reality and the coming 10 years I was involved in campaigns,conferences,church plantings in every former communist nation. Now we are eagerly looking forward to see the fall of Islam. Already now we are active in to the Muslim world but we are believing and looking forward to the day when freedom will come to that part of the World.

Freedom to change

Einstein said "To do the same thing over and over again knowing that it will not lead to any succesful result is the highest form of insanity"

This is so true even today. To change habits, change behaviour, methods and first of all our way of thinking is a key to success even for us as believers. We change because God leads us to through His word and His Spirit. Obedience from our side and actions according to His word allows The Holy Spirit to come with His power and ability and makes everything possible!!

We than will find ourselves walking in the supernatural life in God.

I just finished a great meeting here in Porrentruy. Full house and much Jesus. 4 people recieved Jesus as Lord and many where touched by His healing and restoring power.

Tomorrow is our last day here. I will fly back to London tomorrow evening.

On Thursday I will go to Budapest and on Friday I will leave for Tirana. Magdalena, our second daughter will come with me. I am so happy for that.
